I am a seasoned academician, administrator, passionate researcher, and strategic planner with 28 years of experience in general administration, team building, research and development, and teaching in the higher education sector. I possess passionate and committed multidisciplinary academic leadership with a focus on goals and I am an implementer of progressive policies with a proven track record of holding administrative positions in the higher education sector. I am a well-organized, analytical, research-oriented academician with effective persuasive and negotiation skills. I have acquired an extensive background in all aspects of employee assessment, training, and professional development, as well as being skilled at creating/managing highly productive team endeavours.

My proven track record of successfully managing complex academic operations, overseeing faculty and staff, and ensuring the highest standards of educational quality makes me ready to apply these skills to drive further success for a university. I demonstrated excellent aptitude in planning and organizing day-to-day research activities and resolving procedural problems as appropriate to the timely completion of research objectives. I was recognized as a Peer Team Member for NAAC and NBA-AICTE Margadarshak for improving higher education quality and accreditation. I have a deep understanding of curriculum development, program management, and educational best practices; experience in conceptualizing and implementing strategic plans to achieve academic objectives; well-versed in the NAAC and NBA accreditation processes; and curriculum development aligned with NEP-2020 guidelines. I also serve on several academic and research committees at several HEIs, as well as guiding them in the pursuit of high-quality education.

Publications

I have published over 60+ international and national peer-reviewed journals and led over 50+ presentations at national and international Conferences/workshops, along with editing two Research volumes, writing five book chapters, writing four technical books on chemical engineering, and organizing more than 30 conferences/Workshops. I wrote several articles and blogs in newspapers on engineering education and disputative technologies.

Achievements

I am an accomplished, goal-oriented professional with 28 years of experience in general administration, team building, research and development, teaching, and research within the chemical and allied fields of engineering; I am a recognized Ph.D. guide in chemical and petroleum engineering and have supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate projects.
I was a fellow of the Institute of Engineers, a Senior Member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and a Life Member of various prestigious national and international professional organizations.

Contributions

I am well-versed in the NAAC and NBA accreditation processes and also in the NEP-2020, and I am an expert in curriculum development in accordance with the NEP-2020 guidelines. I strongly associated myself with the implementation of the NEP-2020 as well as the introduction of interdisciplinary courses and short-term training in skilled-based programs in higher education. I am a Peer Team member at NAAC, Bangalore, and worked at NBA-AICTE, New Delhi Margadarshak, to improve the quality of higher education in some HEIs for NBA accreditation.

I also serve on several academic and research committees at several HEIs, as well as guiding them in the pursuit of high-quality education. I have been working for the last 6 years as an advisor on a panel for the selection of various scientific positions in various state and central government departments by the UPSC in New Delhi and the MPSC in Mumbai. I also served as a member of the Advisory Board of the School or Institute, the Board of Studies, and the Research and Recognition Committee on several academic bodies and committees at various universities and autonomous institutes.

I interact with the industry regularly for consulting assignments and interdisciplinary partnerships and have completed more than 10 consulting projects funded by industries. I also got the opportunity to visit several prestigious academic institutes and research and industrial organizations for professional research and training.
